FAQ
What printers are these for?
We keep most parts under roughly 16×16 cm, so they fit comfortably on common home printers such as Bambu Lab, Ender, Prusa, and similar machines. The models are designed with support-free printing in mind, and the pieces are cut for easier printing and assembly.
The sets also include:
- merged versions for faster printing
- hollow / no-interior versions for wargaming tables (resizing)
- roof variations (normal / damaged)
The files are prepared for 28mm tabletop scale and were mainly tested on FDM printers. Resin printing is still possible, but depending on your build volume you may need to further split some parts and add supports manually.
Do I need supports?
All parts are designed for support-free printing on FDM printers - this is one of the main features of our models.
Supports are generally only needed for resin printing, and depending on the printer size, some parts may also require additional cutting.
Myminifactory content is the same?
Yes, if you purchase the sets on Myminifactory, you'll receive the same content, and we will update your order with the new files even on that site.
What is included in the preorder?
The included model list is the same as the one received by the Kickstarter crowdfunding backers who made this project possible.
In addition to the core models, you’ll also receive all unlocked stretch goals - altogether 30 sets, including:
- many unique buildings
- raised foundation pieces
- inner foundation systems like sewers and catacombs
- ruined building variants
- tower-top variations
- additional wall expansions compatible with the City of Tarok 1 series
New releases are delivered continuously as the project progresses.
When will I get new releases?
We release 1–3 new sets every month.
As new models are completed, we update the download section of your account with the new files automatically.
How will I receive the files?
All of the already released sets are available for you to download after checkout (list of the released models) and we will release 1-2 of the remaining products in every month. We will update the Downloads section in your account, you'll find all of the available products and files there.
You can download the files as many times as you want, it has no limit.
Our server is provided and secured by Amazon to give you the best download speed anywhere in the world.
Can I use these files for commercial projects? (Merchant rights)
The files are for personal use only by default.
However, if you would like to sell printed versions of the models, we offer merchant license options.
Merchant Rights
Merchant rights allow you to sell the physical 3D printed models, but:
- selling or sharing the digital STL files is not allowed
- molds and mass production/casting are not allowed
- only 3D printed products may be sold

1. One-Time Merchant Purchase
You can purchase a permanent merchant license together with the STL files for a one-time payment of $320.

- City of Tarok 2 series - option on Myminifactory
You’ll receive:
- the STL files
- commercial rights for printed products
- You'll be added to our merchant list
2. Patreon Merchant Tier
You can also purchase the normal STL products separately (like the $70 offer here), then join our $10 Merchant Patreon tier.
While subscribed, you may:
- print and sell the physical models
- receive a monthly 30% discount coupon for our site
(This Patreon tier exists for merchant licensing purposes; it has no STL releases there.)
