Foundations – Tarok 2

In the great City of Tarok, new streets are built upon the ruins of older ones. Massive stone foundations support elevated plazas, stairways connect different levels of the city, and hidden passages disappear beneath the streets below.

The Raised Foundations system allows you to build layered fantasy city layouts filled with height, vertical gameplay, and modular possibilities – from small raised platforms to sprawling multi-level districts.

The modular design lets you create:

The pieces are designed to work together like building blocks, allowing you to freely mix layouts, heights, rounded sections, and angled structures.

The Foundations set is a fully modular terrain system designed for building large, connected city layouts with multiple levels and vertical gameplay. The stackable height system allows you to create elevated plazas, platforms, and layered streets with ease.

The set includes rounded and angled platform pieces, compatible floor tiles, and multiple wall height options that can be freely mixed together for more varied structures. An internal support system keeps larger builds stable and securely connected.

The files are scaled for 28mm tabletop games and are provided as STL files for home 3D printing. The system is also designed to work with future Inner World releases, allowing you to expand your city later with additional streets, sewers, catacombs, canals, docks, and other modular elements.

Printing

The files are optimized for 28mm scale at 100%, but can also be resized for other miniature scales. Test prints are recommended when printing at smaller scales due to the connector tolerances.

The City of Tarok series is a 3D printable medieval and fantasy village set with buildings that were great at their height, but after a huge war, they are just crumbling remains of the gorgeous buildings they once were. The area is still populated, but the inhabitants have fallen on hard times. As people come back, the once abandoned buildings are getting new life, the town center, watchtower, and the shops are working again, and there is new light where once, there was only darkness.

But the streets of Tarok are only the beginning.

Future releases will expand the city with removable floors that reveal hidden catacombs and sprawling sewer systems beneath the streets. Additional expansion sets will introduce road tiles, overgrown walls, canals, docks, and many more modular city elements, allowing the City of Tarok to grow into a vast layered metropolis above and below ground.
